Marva practiced sacred massage for over thirty years. Her clients have included such celebrities as Jack LaLanne. She closed her practice (Avalon) 3 years ago and has committed to take her message of healing to the world. Antelope Valley grown, Jim’s career as a comedic actor covered almost 35 years. He was an early member of the Improvisation group The Groundlings and a member of the Comedy Store Players. As a Stand-up Comedian Jim has shared the stage with comedy Icons Richard Pryor, Jay Leno, David Letterman, Jim Carrey, and Roseanne Barr. On Television he has starred with Robin Williams, Jonathan Winters, Martin Mull and Thomas Lennon (shown with Jim).
“Keepers of the Christmas Spirit”, Jim and Marva have been traveling the country for the past three years as ”Kitty and Santa”, being represented by NationWide Santa’s (eternal gratitude Gina Bacon), bringing Joy to the World, “your presence is our present.” This year Grace Resources, “Christmas in July”, requested that Kitty and Santa share their one of a kind ministry of love and laughter with the most needy of our local community members.
Blooming well where they are planted, Marva and Jim are Laughter Yoga Leaders creating “Rolling Laughter Experience”, a free offering to experience the health benefits of Laughter. The next RLE will be taking place at the Lancaster Performing Arts Center Oct 18th, enhancing the Laughs In Lancaster Comedy Show brought to you by Local Living.!

Why so serious!!!??? I’ve always been obsessed with self-improvement and self-development, but I eventually found myself at a point in life where I took everything way too seriously. If something or someone wasn’t making me better then I didn’t want to have anything to do with it. I was like this for along time…and eventually one day found myself questioning why I couldn’t laugh like I used to as a kid. When I was younger my friends and I were always laughing, joking, and many times I remember laughing so hard I would almost pee myself!
